Hawk Brake Pad compound information.

Performance Ceramic

• Extremely quiet
• Ultra low dust
• Increased stopping power
• Gentle on discs
• Extended pad life
• Improved braking with very low dust and low noise

Performance Ceramic is engineered to reduce brake NVH (Noise, Vibration and Harshness), creating a quieter performing brake pad. Furthermore, the ceramic brake pad formula has a linear friction profile that allows your ABS brake system to work more effectively. With Performance Ceramic you can expect reduced brake pad wear, very low dust output levels and a disc /rotor -friendly brake pad.

HPS

• Increased stopping Power
• High friction/torque hot or cold
• Gentle on Discs
• Extended pad life
• Low dust
• Low noise
• Great all round fast road pad

The High Performance Street compound offers a higher coefficient of friction over stock brake pads and can pro- vide you 20-40% more stopping power and higher resistance to brake fade. Less fade means you will have a highly durable brake pad with less brake dust. A great all round fast road compound.

HPS5.0

• Pushing the Limits of ABS
• Decreased stopping distances
• Improved pedal feel from initial pressure through entire pedal stroke
• Minimal fade under Higher Temps
• High friction/torque hot or cold
• Gentle on disc /rotors
• Very quiet, low noise
• Improved braking over OE pads
• Extended pad life

High Performance Street 5.0 is one step closer to giving you the greatest stopping power and pedal feel for your vehicle without compromising your ABS. Too much Brake Torque and your ABS goes into ICE mode, too little and there is no improvement to the product. Pedal feedback, Noise, Brake Torque and Dust control was our goal with High Performance Street 5.0. Not a replacement for our current HPS product, but a change that allows the driver to challenge themselves and their car with a new and unique driving feel.

HP+

• 100-800°F, 38-427 °C
• High Friction Output
• Dual Purpose fast road and track day pad
• Work from cold
• Sprint, Hill Climb, track day

Hawk Performance’s HP Plus brake pad compound is ideal for Sprint, Hill Climb and Track Day drivers looking for a high performance race compound that can take the heat of the track and get you home safely without having to change the pads. Extremely high coefficient of friction makes HP Plus the perfect upgrade for high performance streetcars used in competition where no warm up is required or that experience repetitive, heavy braking.

High Performance Street Race

• 100-1200°F, 38-649°C
• Aggressive Torque
• Great Rotor and Pad Wear Life
• Smooth and Predictable Control
• Designed to Deliver High Deceleration Rates
• Smooth Braking Feel
• Consistent Brake Release Characteristics
• While the High Performance Street/Race pad is ideal for many aggressive drivers that own high performance
street cars, it does produce a bit of noise and dust

The trend of using a street car in competition increases every year and competitors are always demanding more. The new Hawk High Performance Street/Race brake pad compound is the ultimate high performance, street brake pad! Perfect for aggressive car owners that also use their cars for track days ,sprints and time trail racing. High Performance Street/Race pads feature Hawk’s mechanical (bond) retention system (MRS), slotted friction, hot bond shim, and pad chamfer that improve the vehicle handling, safety and driver confidence. It performs flawlessly at all temperatures and operating temperatures range from 100-1200F with superior torque while providing a consistent feel and characteristics.
